Christopher
Blair
Chris
Blair was raised in Northern California and went to college at the
University of California Santa Barbara where he received a degree
in Psychology with an emphasis in abnormal behavior. He took a part-time
job during the summer of his freshman year working at a school for
the disabled. He was inspired by people with disabilities and he
took on a career in social services. His unique vision and humor
comes from the work that he did working to release patients from
institutions. 
Working
with the Kennedy family in 1991, Chris started Best Buddies, a non-profit
organization helping handicapped teens create friendships with college
students. The University of California Santa Barbara adopted Best
Buddies as an official university organization in 1993 where it
still exists today serving as many as 40 people each year.

then studied at the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, California.
He received a fellowship from the Shepard Foundation granting him
a full scholarship to the university and in 1999 he graduated with
a degree in Illustration.
As
an illustrator, Chris has worked with many cutting edge companies
and his freelance career has a client list including:
Charles Schwab, HP, The Califonia Pizza Kitchen, The Biltmore Hotels,and
Habitat for Humanity.

Chris
began teaching at the Oxbow School in 2004. The school piloted a
Special Effects summer session in 2004 and Chris was brought on
to teach 2d fundamentals. The school, sponspred by Mondavi Wineries,
will be extended this year to include two sessions and expand its
curiculuum. The summer program visited Pixar and the Coppola film
studio and it was an unrivaled success.

Chris
currently works from his studio in Sausalito, California and his
artwork can be viewed from Los Angeles to New York and from Bangkok
to South Africa.
