My
Mission
My
mission is to find the magic in people and ideas and make them
a tangible reality.
I
began this journey as an exploration of the world and myself within
it. At 26, I had found some success in school and in work and
felt like I had something special inside of me that was simmering
and yearning for attention. I did a bit of soul searching and
found that I was naturally drawn to writing and fantasy and most
of all drawing. Looking back I am amazed that I am where I am
now. My life is art and I am creative every day.
I
sensed this very special thing inside of me and on this journey,
I have found that I can sense it in others as well. Whether working
with a soccer mom, a biologist or a filmmaker, I can draw together
the little bits of magic that we have inside of us and make them
tangible and real. I believe in the possibilities in life and
in the imagination. I believe in the power of combining relentless
hard work with visaulization in manifesting one's dreams.
I
work with the disabled in our community to try to create opportunities
for people to achive their own personal dreams through job development
and education. I also teach teenagers fundamental skills to be
able to communicate their dreams through art and writing. With
adults, I work with people who have learned to stop trying...
and get them to start trying again... and I work with professionals
and businesses to create a vision for their future and a path
to their own success and realization. Through a series of dialogs,
I draft a clear vision of what is held in the spirit and imagination
of my students and clients and visually bring them to life.
My
most fulfilling joys in my work, are in seeing someone who is
viewing their idea for the first time. What before that moment
was a concept or a desire, becomes real and takes flight. Once
that happens everything opens up. It is as if the internal chatter
of doubt and hesitation are cast aside and the mind fills with
confidence and inspiration. A need arises to fulfill the dream,
and life and the universe work in harmony.
It is a beautiful thing, and I have devoted my life to it.
